Gift Wrapping

GIFT-WRAPPING FUNDRAISER IS SUNDAY, DECEMBER 21: The club will be fund-raising by wrapping gifts again this year at the mall on Sunday, December 21, from 9am-8pm. We have stations for eight people at a time! We need all the help we can get, so please consider volunteering, even if only for a short while. Please e-mail president@hawkeyeskating.org to volunteer for gift-wrapping hours or with any questions.

Club ice will NOT occur tomorrow, Dec. 17. It will also not take place Dec. 24 or 31. The next club ice time will be January 7. We believe the rink will have public skate during these times. Happy holidays, and please contact the rink for information on the schedule during these times.

Holiday Show Update

The Holiday Show is this Saturday, December 10th. If you are skating in the show please arrive by 4:45 so you are ready to warm up at 5pm. For those not skating, please come watch the show!
Set Design: Set drawing/cutting will be done Saturday afternoon - all are welcome, we will have rolls of white paper, markers, scissors and tape. This will probably start ~ 4:15pm.
DVD order forms will remain available at the rink through the show.

There will not be club ice the following Wednesdays of winter break: December 17, 24, and 31. That means that tonight is the last regular club ice until January 7 (December 10 is reserved entirely for the dress rehearsal - there will be no regular admission).
Show T-shirts and DVDs

Holiday show - T-shirts and DVDs. A T-shirt/DVD order form may be downloaded and forms are also available at the rink. To guarantee you receive your T-shirt at the show, your order must be left (and paid for) at the rink by noon Friday December 5th. Check out the shirt design on the Shows page. The T-shirt colors will be red. We will try to add later orders, but cannot guarantee they will arrive by the show date. So long as we do not have another natural disaster, the DVDs from the holiday show will be processed over December break and be ready for pickup in early January.
